Outreach

Outreach happens within our walls and outside our walls. Both are important to us.

Old Stone Shepherds

There are fifteen Old Stone Shepherds who are responsible for a flock of 9-10 families each. The Shepherds tend their "flocks" through prayer and by keeping in contact with them in person or through cards or telephone calls. This important ministry allows us to build deeper relationships with one another, while serving one another in Christ's spirit.

Card Ministry

When prayer requests are made or concerns are voiced, the Deacons will place cards suitable for the occasion out for the congregation to sign. This provides another opportunity for reaching out to our friends and neighbors to show them that we care. Many are touched by this important ministry.

Adult Work Camp

Each year Old Stone sends a group of our adults to different areas in the United States to help restore or rebuild communities in need. They have gone to places like Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina, and New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. If you feel called to join this mission we would love to have you.

Water for Cyclists

We are located on a beautiful biking route. To show our love to others, we have a ministry that provides cold drinking water for cyclists. Please stop and enjoy if you are riding in the area.
